Thrive Treatment℠ Center in Santa Monica, California offers evidence-based, gender-specific programming to Los Angeles residents and out-of-state guests who are truly looking to recover from the disease of addiction and co-occurring mental illnesses. Through our integrated therapies & programming we are able to get to the root of addiction & mental health issues. We offer the following treatment services to aide in your path to recovery.
While it may seem overwhelming to face your fears and struggles, we have multiple programs and activities available for you to participate in while you’re staying with us. These are intended to build up your mental and emotional fortitude so you can continue to heal and thrive even once you are discharged.
While part of the inpatient program, you will receive 24/7 personalized and individualized care within a carefully controlled environment. This means you can safely and carefully detox without worrying about the additional symptoms because we’ll help you handle them. You’ll also have the support of our staff and the others going through the program along with you. The program normally lasts a month, but you can stay for up to three months if you need to.
You are also able to see an outpatient therapist and psychiatrist to assist with your therapy and medication needs after completing your inpatient stay. This means you will continue to have support and access to resources even once you are living on your own again. We don’t want you to feel abandoned or alone after your time with us at Thrive Treatment.
The Thrive Treatment Burbank inpatient center closest to Malibu is at 10837 Washington Blvd. in Culver City. The quickest way to get there is along the Pacific Coast Highway, then exiting near the Santa Monica Pier onto the Santa Monica Freeway. It should take about a half hour to get from the heart of Malibu to our location. We are near Sony Pictures Studios and the Wende Museum.
Our building is easy to spot thanks to the green exterior and white Thrive Treatment sign. It is in a relatively suburban area with houses all around, but we do have our own parking lot for patients and visitors. If you take public transportation instead, we are about a 7-minute walk from the nearest bus and train stops.
Thrive Treatment accepts most major insurance plans as well as smaller local companies. Our website has a full list of the insurance plans that we work with, and we are also happy to run your insurance for you to see if your plan will cover treatment with us. Inpatient stays tend to be considered more severe and medically necessary due to the intensity of the treatment and therefore are more likely to be covered. You may still owe some percentage of the cost, so be sure to double-check either on your own or with our help to figure out what the cost would be to stay with us.
Your insurance may also determine the length of your inpatient program. Some companies or specific plans may only cover one month, while others could cover up to three. This depends on your plan and your health. We also offer affordable self-pay options if you do not have insurance or if your plan does not cover our services. Either way, we want to make sure that you get the help you need without worrying about money.
If you feel you need additional support after your inpatient stay ends, we have great news. Thrive Treatment offers more than just inpatient programs. Our most addiction treatment options in Santa Monica include:
Partial Hospitalization.
This program is six hours per day, Monday through Friday. You’ll take part in both individual and group therapy, along with classes and exercises to teach and reinforce the skills you need to stay sober and healthy.
Intensive Outpatient.
As a step down from partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient care requires you to attend three to five days per week for four hours at a time. Many of the same classes and therapy groups are offered, just in a shorter time frame.
Outpatient.
Similar to traditional therapy, you’ll meet about once or twice a week for an hour at a time in either a group or individual therapy session. You can also choose to meet with a psychiatrist if your treatment plan includes medication.
Sober Living Homes.
Located in Santa Monica, we have two sober living homes that are separated by gender. The Last House is for men only, and The Nook offers separate programs and spaces for men and women.
Support Groups.
We can also help you find information on local support groups such as AA and NA. Along with that, our Culver City location holds spaces for adolescents and teens.
Here at Thrive Treatment, we are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whether you want to call or visit us in person, we are happy to answer your questions and get you the help you or a loved one needs at any time. Your search for a Malibu drug and alcohol rehab center can end here in Culver City. Contact us or enter your information on our website today to sign up and get started on your path to sobriety.
