Contact Thrive Treatment to learn more about our innovative substance abuse, dual-diagnosis & mental health treatment programs for teens, young adults, & adults in Los Angeles, California.
Thrive Treatment℠’s addiction treatment center near Century City is designed for clients who require support in early sobriety.
Addiction is a disease. Those with substance use disorders deserve to be treated with dignity, and the high level of care people would expect to receive in Southern California.
Thrive Treatment believes that everyone living with a substance use disorder deserves to realize a brighter future regardless of their past and other potential societal stigmas. We also understand that substance use disorders do not happen in a vacuum—they are intertwined with various societal, emotional, and mental challenges. In our opinion, every substance use disorder diagnosis is a “dual diagnosis” because clinicians have to look not only at the substance use disorder but also at the mental health concerns that could have caused it or stemmed from it. Our experienced staff works to treat your substance use disorder, any co-occurring mental illnesses, and the root of your conditions.
At Thrive Treatment℠ we accept most private insurance plans and we are in network with Cigna, Optum, First Health, and Anthem Blue Cross. Additional payment options are available so don’t hesitate to give us a call so we can get you the help that you need.

Thrive Treatment℠ Center in Santa Monica, California offers evidence-based, gender-specific programming to Los Angeles residents and out-of-state guests who are truly looking to recover from the disease of addiction and co-occurring mental illnesses. Through our integrated therapies & programming we are able to get to the root of addiction & mental health issues. We offer the following treatment services to aide in your path to recovery.
Treatment for substance use disorders typically falls into one of two broad categories: inpatient care and outpatient care. Outpatient care involves clients who attend treatment, either virtually or on-location, for a medical condition that does not require 24/7 monitoring. Some individuals find that outpatient care is more within their financial means than inpatient care.
Outpatient programs usually allow clients to perform full-time jobs, attend family functions, and maintain an independent household. However, Thrive Treatment offers three tiers of outpatient care that vary in intensity.
Once someone has completed detox and an inpatient program, the next step is usually a partial hospitalization program (PHP). Effective outpatient substance abuse treatment in Century City often starts with this tier, as those exiting inpatient care are still quite vulnerable to relapse.
Thrive Treatment’s Los Angeles PHP typically runs six hours per day, and clients are usually at the facility five days per week. Within our PHP, clients have access to many types of talk therapy and other essential treatments. Each week, PHP clients receive two hours of individual counseling with a Master’s level addiction therapist. Group counseling, life-skill courses, psychoeducation, and experiential outings are also key parts of the PHP experience for many clients.
Easy (and often instant) access to doctors and psychiatrists is another hallmark of Thrive Treatment’s PHP.
A typical intensive outpatient program (IOP) is less strenuous than partial hospitalization but more involved than a standard outpatient program, which is discussed below. Clients in an IOP at Thrive Treatment’s Century City drug rehab center spend between nine and 15 hours per week at our facility. They have weekly opportunities to meet with a Master’s level addiction therapist and their primary therapist.
Support and understanding from family members are critical in helping clients face substance use disorder; our IOP often involves family therapy to help clients continue their drug or alcohol rehab journey. You may benefit the most from our IOP if you have a supportive and stable household that is conducive to recovery.
Our LA outpatient drug rehab center offers a standard outpatient program for clients making a final transition back to their families and homes. This is the least stringent tier of outpatient treatment.
You might be a good fit for Thrive Treatment’s outpatient rehab program if you have completed detox, inpatient treatment, PHP, or IOP and are currently living with mild addiction challenges. Clients usually have a significant amount of flexibility with standard outpatient, though they may attend therapy sessions at our facility up to two days per week.
Environmental factors have a significant effect on many people’s decisions to use drugs or alcohol. A routine as simple as walking in the front door after work and walking 10 feet to the refrigerator may cue someone that their brain needs alcohol to compress after work. Humans are creatures of habit, and seeing the same cues every day can contribute to substance use disorder.
For those who have completed detox, a natural step down in care might involve something like sober living. Sober living, sometimes called transitional housing, does not necessarily involve constant monitoring like is common in inpatient treatment facilities.
Clients in Thrive Treatment’s sober living program can access the various outpatient treatments offered at our Century City drug rehab center. Living with other clients undergoing similar challenges can also foster positive camaraderie and help individuals gain perspectives and insights that may aid in the long-term management of their conditions.
Thrive Treatment’s sober living partners offer gender-specific facilities and treatments.
Addiction treatment in Century City is not all we offer. Dual diagnosis treatment means addressing any underlying mental health conditions our clients may have. Many of our signature programs aim to help clients confront challenges such as depression, anxiety, PSTD, and other common mental illnesses.
This program is offered for adults aged 18-24. Venturing out into the “real world” can seem challenging for many young people, and our Emerging Adults program can help equip them with important skills. Our team keeps in contact with local employers and educational institutions to make the transition to adulthood as seamless as possible.
This program is geared toward adults older than 24 who need help with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or both. The Thrive Adult program offers several tiers for clients so they can receive personalized, effective treatment. Talk therapy and medication management are just two of the many possible benefits clients may gain.
Getting past a substance use disorder, mental health condition, or both may seem hopelessly complex right now, but that’s not reality. The reality is that caring professionals can work with you to confront your challenges and help you realize the life you want to live.
Thrive Treatment’s staff would be honored to help get your life back on track. Let us know what you need, and we will do everything in our power to assist you.
