Margot Rothstein is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Margot received her Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. As a therapist, Margot works to help her clients explore the entirety of who they are as a person. She believes that everyone deserves the time and space to understand where they come from, how their experiences impact their present, and how they can move forward in life in a way that makes sense for them.
As an MFT Trainee, Margot worked with clients, ages 18-65, as an individual, family and group therapist at Beit T’Shuvah, a residential treatment facility in Culver City, California. There, she received training in 12-Step, spiritual and psychotherapeutic modes of recovery as well as additional training in process addictions, group therapy, trauma and eating disorders. She looks forward to bringing her knowledge of the recovery process and her ability to develop strong, supportive relationships with her clients to her new position as a primary therapist at Thrive Treatment.
Outside of work, Margot enjoys the best LA has to offer – going to movies, searching for incredible food, enjoying weather that can’t be beat, and watching all 162 Dodgers games with her baseball obsessed husband. She sort of wishes she were kidding about the last one.
